      Completing a Daily Checkup for Antibiotic Free (ABF) Groups

      This article will explain the changes you may see in a Daily Checkup when using our Antibiotic Free (ABF) Group Tracking in EveryPig.

      Antibiotic Free (ABF) Group Tracking on Daily Checkups

      Caregivers are responsible for completing a Daily Checkup for each group daily. 

      How to complete a Daily Checkup for Antibiotic Free (ABF) Groups in EveryPig

      • Open Daily Checkups
      • Find the desired Farm and click Select
      • Find the desired Group and click Select
      • Fill out required fields:
        • A new line has been added: Pigs Treated for the Group

      This value will increase or decrease depending on what the Caregiver enters for Mortalities or Medications. 

      If the Pigs Treated for the group equals the Pigs under Care for the group, both values will be influenced the same. 

        • For each movement type, a new field has been added: Head-Treated.

      The user cannot enter Head-Treated first. 

        • The user will be able to report Treated pigs as a reason in the Mortality Section.

        • The user will be able to know which medications are Safe or Unsafe to give to ABF Groups.

        • All other fields (Symptoms, High/Lows and Water Usage) remain the Same. 
      • When the user has completed all required fields from the Daily Checkup, they will click Submit.
