Creating Barns

Whether you have one barn per site or multiple barns per site, you can create them in EveryPig. Accurately track your groups flow using our Barns feature.

You must have an Admin Role on your account to create and manage Barns.

If you do not use EveryPig Scheduling, creating Barns is necessary for correct placement of pigs and internal transfers. If you use EveryPig Scheduling, Barns will be necessary when Arrival Loads and Transfer Loads are scheduled.

Creating new Barns

1. Open the Admin Panel.

2. Click 'Farms' at the top of the page.

3. Find the desired Farm and click 'Edit' on the right side of the page.

4. Select 'Barns'.

You can review User Roles, Health Variables, Farm Scheduling and Farm Information from this page. Note: Farm Scheduling will not be an option if you do not use EveryPig Scheduling.

5. Click 'Create Barn'.

6. Fill out the Barn Name and Capacity. Once you are finished, click 'Create Barn'.

Disabling a Barn

Open the Admin Panel
Click 'Farms'
Find the desired Farm and click 'Edit' on the right side
Select 'Barns'
Click 'Disable'

Enabling a Barn

Open the Admin Panel
Click 'Farms'
Find the desired Farm and click 'Edit' on the right side
Select 'Barns'
Click 'Enable'

If you are interested in activating an integration with another platform, like Distynct, creating Barns will be necessary to complete the integration.
