      How to report a Treatment Protocol from the Caregivers Role

      Learn how to navigate, report and submit Daily Checkups when the group has a Treatment Protocol pending.

      All roles on EveryPig can report a treatment connected to a Treatment Protocol on the Daily Checkup. However - it is the Caregivers role to ensure all Treatment Protocols are completed on time. 

      Reporting Treatment Protocols on a Daily Checkup

      1. Click Daily Checkups

      2. Find the desired Farm and click 'Start'

      3. Click 'Start' for the desired group

      4. Under Medications, you will see a warning if there are treatments pending from a Treatment Protocol. 

      Note: Only Treatment Protocols that are ready to be reported should appear as a prompt.

      5. If you do not need to report treatments at this time, you can click 'No'. Once you click no, a warning window will appear. Simply confirm your choice by clicking 'No, I don't'.

      6. If you wish to report treatments, click 'Yes'.

      7. If there are treatments from a Treatment Protocol pending and should be reported, EveryPig will apply those medications automatically to the Daily Checkup. See below.

      Note: EveryPig will prefill all information related to this medication. The Caregiver will only be required to complete the following fields: Head Treated and Medication Administered.

      Note: The Caregiver cannot delete a medication if it is connected to a Treatment Protocol. Only Admin users have the ability to delete a medication connected to a Treatment Protocol. 

      8. Complete the required fields for each medication connected to a Treatment Protocol. (Head-treated and Medication Administered)

      9. If you need to add additional medications, click 'Add Another Medication'. EveryPig will not prefill information for additional medications reported. The caregiver will need to manually enter Head-Treated and all dosage information. 

      10. Once you have completed all questions related to medications, click 'Continue'.

      Note: If a user selects 'No' to Medication Administered, EveryPig will continuously prompt the Caregiver on their Daily Checkup until they report 'Yes'

      11. Complete all questions displayed on the Daily Checkup then click 'Submit'.

      Starting a Treatment Protocol early

      1. Navigate to Daily Checkups.

      2. Find the desired Farm and click 'Select'.

      3. Find the desired Group and click 'Start'.

      4. When you get to the medications questions, click 'Yes'.

      5. Using the dropdown, find the medication you want to report.

      6. If this medication is connected to a Treatment Protocol, a field will appear that says 'Starting ahead of schedule'.

      7. If you wish to start this medication early, click 'Yes'.

      8. EveryPig will prefill dosage information according to the information on the Treatment Protocol. 

      9. Once you are finished reporting medications, click 'Continue'.

      If a Caregiver fills out the dosage information but does not select Yes or No for the field 'Starting ahead of Schedule', they will not have the option to coninute.
